Companion Natural Duck Hearts are simply freeze dried - that's it. There's nothing added, nothing taken away, no preservatives and no flavourings added. These are simply USDA approved for human consumption duck hearts, end of story. With 3 full ounces of freeze dried hearts, these babies started out as 1 full pound of hearts prior to being freeze dried. That's a lot of meat! Feed them whole as they are or cut them up into smaller pieces for trainging, either way your pet will love them. If you really want to get creative, you can soak the hearts in hot water until they rehydrate again.

Freeze Dried Duck Hearts are terrific for allergy dogs as duck is usually a novel protein. And since heart meat is generally low in fat, here's a great addition for your dog who needs a low fat diet.
