One 4 lb package will last a small dog about 2 - 5 months (depends on the size of dog!), a medium dog about 1 month and a large dog about 1/2 a month. One 8 lb package will last a medium dog about 2 months and a large dog about 1 month. Who knows how long it will last a small dog - probably forever! But because Urban Wolf is a fresh dehydrated food, we don't recommend purchasing huge quantities for very small dogs for the obvious reasons.
